With tens of thousands of kilometres of fencing needing to be replaced or repaired in the wake of Cyclone Gabrielle, Farmlands, Federated Farmers and Stuff are calling on Kiwis to ‘Post Your Support’ as part of their plan to help farmers and growers

Farmlands announced a $17.1m group net profit before tax and rebates for the 2022 financial year at its Annual General Meeting, held in Farmlands’ new flagship Ashburton store on Thursday, 3 November.

Farmlands has just opened a new store in Ashburton, the first in 7 years. The opening of this large ‘concept store’ was celebrated during the weekend 9 – 11 December with appearances by Santa, prize draws and in-store specials. 

After a one-year hiatus due to Covid-19, the Crusaders and Highlanders will have a pre-season showdown on Friday 10 February 2023 in Weston, North Otago for the Farmlands Cup.

Dr Claire Nicholson (Ngāti Ruanui, Ngāruahine, Ngāti Kahungnunu) has joined the Farmlands Board, with more than two decades of experience across agribusiness, governance, veterinary science, animal health, technical research and the environment.
